She already wrote a whole universe whose magical lore was whitewashed and Eurocentric despite the opportunities to do otherwise. In a country with a very complex and rich history of Indigenous and African (& many other) non-white, non-Pagan spiritualities, mythologies and witchcraft practices, I don’t at all trust her with handling it right. Best should could do is erase and ignore us again. I’d rather be saddened by missed opportunities than gross misrepresentations.
