Oh yr definitely not. A lot of people are misinformed or take whitewashed/revised history for face value. Beyond just good ol’ racism, they’re literally ignorant because their (biased, whitewashed) schools didn’t teach ‘em much intentionally so. As for how thoroughly Tituba is erased (or more recently made out to be EVIL) in these allegedly feminist stories, that still regularly astounds me.
