I mean, the roots of European colonialism from the Crusades and 1492 on lies in part what you’re referring to but what has happened to communities of color under European colonialism should be understood as its own unique thing and not derailed so much under the guise of “mutual” liberation as if we have experienced the same violence and conditions under colonialism when we absolutely haven’t.
